Abstract:
This project has two primary goals: 1) gain insight into the weather and climate extremes about which resource managers, planners, and other decision makers in Arizona and New Mexico need better information, 2) establish where opportunities reside for climate researchers to provide information about extreme events that are important to the people of the region. The output from this project will provide information to CLIMAS researchers and collaborators that can help guide research, climate services, and outreach efforts.
