Daniel Ferguson Program Manager, Climate Assessment for the Southwest, University of Arizona MA, American Indian Studies, University of Arizona, 1997 Dan joined the staff of ISPE in January 2005 as an Assistant Research Scientist and took over the position of Program Manager for CLIMAS in October 2007. In his current position, Dan is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the CLIMAS program, as well as coordinating CLIMAS outreach activities. Dan's research interests revolve around three related themes: human interactions with their ever-changing environment, the communication of scientific information to a broad audience, and the often contentious relationship between science and decision making.
