Following on our 2000 conference, this workshop was designed to bring together key individuals from the most affected regions in the continental United States, along with climate experts and officials from federal land management agencies, to review the 2000 fire season, discuss potential fire risk for 2001, and to identify ways in which climate information can be better integrated into planning and decision making activities.
